Sándor Kisfaludy was a leading figure in the language renewal movement. He took an active role in the ranks of those fighting for the legal status of the Hungarian language. At a time when German was the language of the state and Latin of the church, Kisfaludy wrote his masterpieces in Hungarian.

On the map on the touch screen, you can select the places that appear in Kisfaludy’s poems. You can also listen to the poems aloud while watching a bird’s-eye view video of the landscape.
