Sándor Kisfaludy was a leading figure in the language renewal movement. He took an active role in the ranks of those fighting for the legal status of the Hungarian language. At a time when German was the language of the state and Latin of the church, Kisfaludy wrote his masterpieces in Hungarian.

In one of the menu items, you can follow Sándor Kisfaludy’s poems about the Balaton Highlands on a projector and a monitor. On the map on the touch screen, you can select the places that appear in Kisfaludy’s poems. You can also listen to the poems aloud while watching a bird’s-eye view video of the landscape. Another menu option allows you to take a virtual tour of Sümeg and the surrounding villages associated with Kisfaludy.
