“Integration of on-line labelling systems” software development for British American Tobacco Hungary Kft.

The aim of the project was to support the programming of printers at the manufacturers’ premises according to the products to be manufactured. This was complemented by the programming of barcode readers to control the printing, as well as the automatic setting and reading of scales for checking the weight of cartoned products. The weight value read out was also used to modify the data content of the label to be printed on the carton.

A web application supporting remote monitoring and programming was also developed for the system.
