Local History Exhibition in District II of Budapest
The implementation of the local history exhibition titled “Óvóhely–Helyóvó” in Budapest’s District II was carried out by InnoTeq Ltd.
Upon entering the exhibition space, visitors are greeted by an interactive touchscreen quiz terminal. Along the wall, there are five additional touchscreen timeline terminals, each focusing on a different theme. On the opposite and rear walls, a continuous film projection showcases scanned versions of old Civil Defense Education filmstrips and aerial photographs from the period.
In one of the side alcoves, visitors can listen to personal recollections through the “Listen to Stories!” terminal, using a vintage telephone device. Two other terminals offer virtual local history walks, and at the “Tell Your Own Story!” station, visitors can leave a message using a microphone.
At the end of the room, in front of the magic mirror terminal, guests can take a photo with a backdrop featuring a vintage tram, bus, or a “Góbé” type glider aircraft.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, visitors can send a written message to future generations using a pneumatic tube system.
