The goal of the project was database migration from Microsoft SQL Server 201x server to PostgreSQL server. Due to the complexity of the data mapping, the migration was performed by a custom-built application. The migration process was monitored by the application screen, log files and result files containing statistics.

The application was developed with a view to its potential future usability, so that it could be used with other database operators with minimal modifications.
